I am supposed to be writing a newspaper column for English class. (It’s not really going into a newspaper.) I want to write about being the biological child of parents who do foster care. How should I go about this?
It has to be at least 400 words.
Oh, and it’s the kind that go on the editorial page too….if that helps at all.

oops! triple post! sorry.
I have used peat pots for years, but they’re expensive and I need a bunch of them to start my gourd seeds. Newspaper seems like a good substitute, but I worry about wiping out this year’s seeds if the newspaper contains inappropriate chemicals, or if there’s some other problem I can’t foresee.
Newspaper is perfectly safe. You can even find ‘pot’ making tools from several seed companies. You wrap the paper around the dowel, press the bottom into the shape block to close the bottom and poof, you have a pot.
Today’s newspaper ink is soy based so it is safe for this. Also makes good starter for weed block in the bottoms of garden beds. Need several layers, and eventually it will decay but as I said, it is a good starter.
Better yet, here is a ‘how to’ with pictures. Enjoy!
Generally people put oily and fried food on newspapers to absorb extra oil from the food. It seems unhealthy. Newspaper contains ink (chemical) which may contaminate the food. What is the best ulternative?
Layered paper towels seem to work wonders as well.
When the game gets personal, the Counter-Terrorists develop new rules of engagement, and prank call the Terrorist Opposition who have taken over the Office!
I made this purely with Garry’s Mod 10, and the audio file of “You Stole My newspaper!”
Hope you enjoy it!
Other Notes:
I also made a Office Space prank call. Check it out here:
I got around to making another one:

Recently, I have been seeing a lot of media calling themselves "newsmagazines" when, in fact, their publications look exactly like a newspaper except with a magazine-style cover. Are there any other differences between newspapers and newsmagazines?
I have read that newsmagazines do more in-depth investigation and reporting, but I am wondering if this is the same type of newsmagazine or if this is refering to more publications such as Time and Newsweek.
I don’t understand: flavor?
I’m doing a little research for a story I’m working on, and one my characters is a journalist for a major newspaper. How much, in general, does a journalist for a major newspaper make?
In the case of the major newspaper, let’s suppose it’s on the level of the New York Times.
LOL, you got a bunch of spam answers …
Try emailing the crew at the NYTimes … why not, right? Journalists are probably a chatty bunch.
